Frances Córdova is a dedicated advocate for children and families. Born in Ponce, Puerto Rico, she values the richness of cultural diversity and is passionate about connecting with families from all backgrounds. Frances is honored to serve as a Parent Ambassador for Middletown Public Schools, where she looks forward to building strong relationships and supporting families throughout the district.
As the mother of a four-year-old son, Frances understands firsthand the importance of parent engagement, quality communication, and strong partnership; both within the school community and with surrounding community resources. Her approach is child-focused, always prioritizing the well-being, growth, and success of every child.
Frances takes pride in creating inclusive spaces where families feel seen, heard, and supported.
Frances currently serves as a guest teacher at a private school in a nearby community, where she enjoys engaging with students, supporting their development, and contributing to a positive classroom environment. Her commitment to education is further strengthened by her completion of the National Parent Leadership Training Institute (PLTI), an experience that encouraged the development of her advocacy skills and empowered her to amplify parent voices within her community.
With more than 16 years of experience working with children and families across various professional settings, Frances values trust, empathy, and open dialogue.
As a bilingual professional, she takes pride in creating inclusive spaces where families of all ethnicities, cultures, and socioeconomic backgrounds feel seen, heard, and supported.
